International Pop Overthrow:
International Pop Overthrow (or IPO, as it has affectionately become known)
is a pop music festival which has been held for the past eight years in Los Angeles,
and more recently in Chicago, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Nashville,
San Francisco, and Liverpool, England (at the world famous Cavern Club)!
2008 see the addition of Portland, Oregon will True West will perform.
Tim Lee: The official site for our
pal, Tim Lee, who will be playing in both Portland and Seattle with True West. Russ Tolman
produced Tim's old band, The Windbreakers album "Electric Landlady". And The Windbreakers
"At Home With Bobby and Tim" CD features Tim singing the Russ Tolman penned "Portrait of Blue".

This British based CD label has a release out from Rich Hopkins and The Luminaros, and is the
official merchandiser for Giant Sand in the UK. They also maintain some
extensive discographies on some fine Americana and Paisley Underground bands including
True West, the Foolkillers, and Russ Tolman.
Steve Wynn: The official site for musical legend, Steve Wynn. Steve, Russ Tolman,
and Gavin Blair played together many years ago in the Suspects. Later, Steve produced True West's Hollywood
Holiday EP, as well as fronted the great Paisley Underground band Dream Syndicate.
Chuck Prophet: The official site for former Green on Red guitarist Chuck Prophet,
who has had a brilliant solo career during the past decade. Chuck also contributed guitar to True West's
"Hand of Fate" album, as well as songs to Russ Tolman's "City Lights". These days, Chuck is on the New West label.
Paisley Pop: The fabulous CD label that is throwing the shindig in Seattle, also
the home of The Foolkillers, Windbreakers, a few excellent Tim Lee releases, and the Russ Tolman produced
